Curtis Santiago video

With all of the new video technology becoming available these days, (super high definition DSLRs) it is becoming easier to put together cool/high end videos and put cameras where they used to once not be able to go. Below is a video made by Todd Duym and Philip Lanyon and edited by Jamie Mac.  This video was shot with 12 individual cameras mounted on a rig and then spliced together for this really cool video. I can only imagine how long it took to edit this thing with 12 times the footage of the same scene.

Sunrise, Jenny Lake 2, WY

This shot was taken about 10 minutes after the first shot (a few posts earlier).  Clouds moved in very fast over the sun, and the remainder of the morning was cool and cloudy.  I was really fascinated how quickly things changed.

Thanks Leah!!

My new good buddy on the west coast Leah McCormick sent me these awesome buttons today. Her work is a beautiful blend of fashion and fine art.  I recently listened an interview with Leah on Inside Analog Photo and was totally inspired by her an her photography.  I have been slowly making a transition back to film from digital for a fair amount of the photos I take, and have been talking with Leah about the switch.  Anyhow thank you so much Leah for the cool buttons!  I will rock them proudly.

Belize, night beach

This was a shot taken in Belize near the Kannantik Reef Resort. It was a 5 hour hour exposure taken at night.  We were trying to get star trails over the ocean but instead a rain storm moved in during the night.  End result was still pretty neat.  We waited to try again, but it rained during the next 3 nights we were there.
